Accounting Clerk Cindy McGee explained her favorite part of joining the Zieggy Tribe involves being a member of the finance department’s Seal Team Six.

“Seal Team Six, it’s just a nickname that started when the six members of the finance team dressed up in camo to take a picture for last year’s holiday newsletter,” said Cindy. “The name stuck.”

The ice pops and family environment appealed to Cindy when she first took a job at The Ziegenfelder Company in July 2016. According to her fellow Zieggy Tribe members, Cindy fit in perfectly.

“When I think of Cindy, I smile because we are blessed to have her as part of our tribe,” said Nichole Paulus, The Ziegenfelder Company’s Controller. “Cindy radiates positivity. She is always thinking and contributing to our success, from executing daily tasks to her willingness to help. She just jumps in to learn new tasks.”

Cindy and her high school sweetheart Kevin have been married for 27 years. They have a 21-year-old son named Nathan, 18-year-old daughter named Jessica, and two dogs named Copper and Duke. The entire family cares for their small beef farm.

“My mom and two brothers live within a mile away of me in West Liberty,” said Cindy. “I have a group of childhood friends who are my extended family. We’ve gone on vacation in the West Virginia mountains together for years. We celebrate special occasions together and are there for each other anytime we need anything.”

Cindy explained the golden rule provides the best pathway to success for new members of the Zieggy Tribe.

“Treat people the way you want treated and learn everything that you can,” said Cindy. “I love being at The Ziegenfelder Company even it’s it’s only been 15 months. They treat me like I’m a long time employee. I feel the love and I feel valued.”
