Join Our Zieggy Tribe

The Ziegenfelder Company kicked off the month of May by participating in the Ohio Valley Job Fair at Ohio Valley mall in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Jessa Stobbs from the People and Culture team’s recruiting department attended on behalf of The Ziegenfelder Company to encourage others to join the Zieggy Tribe.

“It was great to meet so many amazing people at this event,” said Jessa. “I was able to share our company values to those attending the job fair and explain what we do.”

The Ziegenfelder Company owns and produces the brand Budget Saver, as well as, licensed and private labeled products for retailers such as Kroger, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Walmart. Members of the Zieggy Tribe are able to produce 2.5 million pops per day with 24/7 operations at three facilities across the country.

While this event focused on recruiting people to work at the company’s main headquarters in Wheeling, West Virginia, Jessa explained to potential applicants that the Zieggy Tribe is always looking for great people to join our Tribe across the company’s three facilities.

“I explained to many people I met that we have two other plants: one in Denver, Colorado and the other in Chino, California,” said Jessa. “Not many people knew that. Some of our employees are even asked to travel to our other facilities to help train new employees.”

The Ziegenfelder Company has produced steady and significant double-digit growth year over year for the past 15 years while growing our tribe from 60 employees in one facility with three production lines to over 300 employees across three facilities and 10 production lines. Ziegenfelder’s growth and success is due to our dedicated tribe, while operating by a strong set of values, called our Zieggy Essentials. Those people-oriented values made it easy for people to be attracted to apply during the Ohio Valley Job Fair.

“We didn’t even have the table fully setup and people were asking to apply and asking what jobs were available,” Jessa said. “At times, we had groups of people asking about our positions at one time.”
